David has been in real estate for over 25 years. Originally licensed in 1987, he has been employed professionally in just about every aspect of residential and commercial real estate. David is now a Realtor with Sereno and heads the David Long Group within Sereno.

He bought his first condo while still in college, and managed it as a rental property. Since that time David has been employed as a licensed Mortgage Originator for over 13 years and has also been a custom home builder and commercial developer.

David lives in Los Gatos with his wife Judy (a native of Los Gatos) and his three children Joe, Luke and Sam. When not dealing with the real estate market, he enjoys yoga, golfing and walking his two corgis Roscoe and Penny.

A California native, I moved to the Bay Area to earn my Bachelor’s Degree at Santa Clara University, and have made the South Bay my home ever since.

My philosophy is simple:  A Real Estate transaction is not just about the building or the land.  It is the memories made during your years in the home, the memories you plan to create in a new home, and the legacy of home ownership.

It is about building a future.

After many years in the medical and high tech industries, it was time to put family first when my husband and I were blessed with two sons.  Once the boys started school, I became a substitute teacher at the local School District to better be able to fit with their schedule.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with students and families, both in school and volunteering, to help nurture the next generation toward a bright future.

My interest in the community and its families led me to become a REALTOR®, and also a Senior’s Real Estate Specialist (SRES®).  After several years with Coldwell Banker, I  joined Sereno in Los Gatos, and have enjoyed the new adventures.

My passion for real estate was ignited while building custom homes and remodels throughout Silicon Valley with my father and uncle. I loved being a part of transforming houses into beautifully crafted homes. These experiences ingrained a deep appreciation for the communities where we built: Los Altos, Los Gatos, Mountain View, Campbell and San Jose to name a few.
